Project Manager – Infrastructure Projects (Green Energy)

Are you an experienced project manager with an passion for renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure?
NunaGreen is looking for a dedicated project manager to lead major infrastructure projects that contribute to Greenland's green transition and create long-term value for both local communities and the environment.
About the position
As a project manager at NunaGreen, you will be responsible for planning, managing and implementing complex infrastructure projects within green energy – including the construction of hydropower plants and related supply infrastructure for the of Nuuk, Qasigiannguit and Aasiaat. You will be part of a highly skilled team, reporting to the Head of Construction, and working closely with internal specialists, external partners, and authorities.
The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
Your main tasks
- Overall project management: Planning, monitoring, and managing time, budget, and resources throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk and quality management: Identify, analyze and mitigate risks and ensure that deliveries meet technical and environmental requirements.
- Contract and supplier management: Negotiate and follow up on contracts with contractors and suppliers.
- Regulatory processing: Coordinate approval processes and ensure compliance with national and local regulations.
- Work environment, health and safety and sustainability: Ensure a safe workplace and integrate environmental considerations into the project phases.
- Cross-disciplinary collaboration and reporting: Ensure effective communication between stakeholders and providing regular updates to the Head of Construction.
Your profile
- Solid experience in project management within construction and infrastructure projects – preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector.
- Technical background (e.g. engineer, marine engineer, construction manager, or similar) combined with documented experience as a project manager.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills as well as the ability to create structure and maintain an overview in complex projects.
- Experience with risk management, quality work and contract negotiation.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain a strategic perspective.
- Fluency in Danish and English, both spoken and written (contracts and collaborations are often in English).
