Project Manager for Large Infrastructure Projects at NunaGreen A/S

The Position

We are looking for a skilled project manager to join our large infrastructure projects within 2-3 months.

As a project manager at NunaGreen, you will play a central role in the establishment of sustainable energy in Greenland. Specifically, you will work on some of Greenland’s largest infrastructure projects, including the development of hydropower to supply Qasigiannguit and Aasiaat located in Disko Bay. You will join our experienced team currently working on the tender process for our infrastructure projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Project Management: Daily management and control of our infrastructure projects, as well as providing professional support to colleagues in project management.
• Contract Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to secure favorable terms and monitor contract compliance throughout the project’s lifecycle.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in projects and develop strategies to minimize or eliminate these risks.
• Regulatory Compliance: Navigate through regulatory processes, ensuring compliance with local and national rules and obtaining the necessary permits and approvals for the projects.
• Environmental Management: Ensure that all project activities comply with environmental laws and work to minimize environmental risks to optimize the project’s environmental profile.
• Workplace Safety: Ensure compliance with legislation and that projects are carried out in a safe and healthy working environment by implementing and monitoring workplace safety procedures and policies.
• Reporting: Regularly prepare reports, presentations, etc., on project status for the Construction Manager.

Your Profile and Background

We emphasize that you have solid experience in project management within the construction and infrastructure industry, preferably in energy and infrastructure. Experience from large-scale infrastructure projects will be an advantage.

Your educational background is ideally in engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, or a similar technical field. A recognized qualification in project management would be a strong plus.

You should be able to work independently, be decisive, proactive, and have a solution-oriented approach to tasks and collaboration with partners.

It will be beneficial if you have a strong commitment to your work, excellent communication skills, and can align your personal values with NunaGreen’s vision of contributing positively to the green transition.

Contract documents are expected to be in English, so fluency in both spoken and written English is required.
